I am so sorrow-filled to hear of Vaiva's death, and cannot know how you and your children are coping with this loss. Thank you for reaching out to me and my wife last fall, and inviting us to visit your lovely and love-filled home. It was so good to see you both, and to hear memories from Vaiva about her father. My memories of Vaiva echo those of Pat Cauduro, and I too shall always hear Vaiva's strong velvet voice. She taught me that one can be both tough and tender at a time when I had only known people who were either one or the other. Her energy, generosity of spirit & deep wisdom moved those in the world whom she touched closer to God's kingdom. Stay strong, Jim.
