I was thinking of calling this post The Longest Day, but based on the weather report tomorrow may be longer still. Ever tried to catch plane to Lithuania in a snowstorm? I've done it before, and it ain't fun.
I started to think about commenting on the day's events, but there's too much and I'm just beat. So let me just say thank you to everyone we saw today, a special thank you to those who spoke after the funeral, and above all, my eternal gratitude to Elona Vaisnys and Sigita Simkus-Rosen for organizing everything and lifting so, so much from my shoulders.
Tomorrow I get to thank Tom Pleckaitis for being my chauffer to the airport.
