Redwoods

After the Šventė in Los Angeles last summer, Vaiva and I took a road trip to San Francisco before returning home. It was our honeymoon, because two days after we were married in 1977 I returned to BU law school and she returned to Yale. I'll post additional photos from our California adventure in the future, but for today here's a shot in the redwood forest south of Carmel. Vaiva had never seen a redwood in person, even though forestry had been an area of concentration for her at Yale. She had to sit down to take it all in.
