Dear Jim,
I am very saddened by the news of Vaiva's death. She was a great woman
in every respect, and your relationship with her, it was clear to
everyone, was a great love affair lasting almost four decades and
producing a wonderful family. Love is eternal, and so she will be with
you forever in memory, in spirit and in her effects on the lives of so
many. Let that knowledge sustain you in this time of agony.
