As she was recovering from her cancer treatment in 2002, Vaiva undertook a major reworking of the flower gardens to the south side of our home. We went to White's Flower Farm in Litchfield, CT, and among other things bought a great many lillies. I took this photo in July the next year, to send to Vaiva in Lithuania to show her how well her garden was doing.
