Post funeral luncheon

After the funeral, we retired to the basement of Holy Trinity Church, where Sigita had overseen provision of a pot luck luncheon, in the standard fashion of the Lithuanian-American Community. We had a message from the Lithuanian Embassy, then



















a speech from Vytas Maciūnas, Vaiva's successor as head of Bendroumenė (the Lithuanian-American Community). Also










Gita Kupčinskas, Vaiva's lifelong friend from childhood in New Haven, spoke about the creation and success of the American Professional Partnership for Lithuanian Education.
