Dearest Jim,
There are no adequate words to convey our condolences and sadness…Vaiva was a wonderful person in every way. She served as my mentor, as I am sure she was a mentor to others. Her quiet, dedicated manner assured progress in areas that she touched. We already miss her as an activist and personally as a dear friend. May she rest in eternal peace. Thank you for sharing the last year of her life with us, in addition to the many memories of her that we have.
