I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about your mom's passing. I know it is of little consolation but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Please accept our deapest condolences from the entire Skripkus and Valaitis families.

Ed. Note: Vėjas Skripkus is a distant cousin of ours. "His" side of the family and "our" side of the family have not even had much contact for a couple generations, until he went investigating his family tree and found our aunt, Vaiva's sister, Silvija and us down the line. Mama was a little surprised but really quite delighted over the summer to hear me refer to him as a giminė, a relative.
