I am very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I do not pretend to understand what you are going through in this difficult time, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I had the privilege of knowing your mother through her Lithuanian Community and Lithuanian Government works and was very impressed by her conviction, her views and her opinions. The first time we met she approached me and told me that she had some ideas about how to get Lithuanian youth motivated and more involved in community works – I knew right then and there that this lady was really "with it"! Her views into community dynamics are remarkable and insightful.
If you have not read your mother's "Kas yra Lietuvių Bendruomenė" let me know and I will send you a copy. Very well-written.
My condolences go out to your entire family. Your mother will be missed.
