Mama read up on meditation last summer and fall... she hoped it would become an additional medicine which might not only reduce stress, but help her body to heal.
I signed up for the spring Meditation and Relaxation class in November, so that we could try it together some time... and even though we won't be doing that now, I'm still in the class. Today we focused on mindfullness and breathing and I pretty much fell asleep, which seems to defeat the purpose of trying to become fully conscious all the time, but what do I know, it was the first class (because of MLK day).
