
These photos don't do justice to how extravagant the raspberry crop is this year. Evidently our cool, wet weather has been perfect for them, though not so much for the blueberries. Sigita has brought people twice to help harvest them, and still we can't keep up. I took a quart into the office, and have invented a new dessert for myself that involves raspberries and pudding (chocolate or vanilla).

We have three varieties, and they ripen at different times. This first type is the most abundant, and the tastiest, but we will have raspberries until well into the fall under Vaiva's plan.
Nice! We only have a week or so left of raspberries in Lithuania. We have to get some soon to make sure we can make jam and ice cream.
