Aras and Adrija visited in June 2008, ahead of the Sviente in Los Angeles. Aras was also best man at a wedding in New York on that visit.This photo was the day that they arrived. Adrija is carrying a piece of sidewalk chalk in her hand, they are going to the driveway for an art experience. You can see from Vaiva's expression and body language her joy at being with her granddaughter. Perhaps the cruelest aspect of Vaiva's early death is that she was denied much of the opportunity to be a grandmother.
She would have been a great one.

ReplyDeleteI think that Aras was a best man in Darius' wedding the summer of 2007; after his own wedding, he was in the States for a month with Adrija for his honeymoon with his newlywed.
