My grandmother has died

My maternal grandmother died yesterday. Agnes Ellen Meath Marko Franklin was 98 years old. She lived on the farm where my mother was raised until she was 94. A lifelong heavy smoker, somehow she dodged the cancer bullet, while Vaiva, who did nothing to raise her cancer risk, died at 54. Grandma Franklin most likely died from complications of a stroke, but fundamentally died from old age.
