Maureen Dowd at the NYTimes was caught plagiarizing, copying a paragraph from a blog and putting it in her column. Here is Slate's commentary on her response when she was caught. They give her credit for the prompt correction and that she didn't try to make excuses.
Contrast that to a.p.p.l.e., which still hasn't acknowledged that they plagiarized this blog and published my photos without permission.
