Mixed news on the corn

As you can see, the corn grew very well this year.

One variety grew to over seven feet tall (Lokys is more than six feet).

But because I didn't thin the corn, it grew so densely that it didn't set many good ears and our yield is way down. This never mattered in the past, either the birds or the July drought thinned it instead. This year, no such luck.
